                 SPECIAL EVENTS
STATE COMBINED-EVENT CHAMPIONSHIPS (OPEN TO ALL U7-U17’S)
The Combined-Event Championships are run along the lines of an Olympic Decathlon or Heptathlon event with points allocated for an athlete’s performance in each of the component events. This event is open to all registered Little Athletes from Under 7 to Under 17. Entries can be done online via the Little Athletics NSW website (until the closing date approximately 3 weeks prior to the carnival or once the registrations cap has been reached).
This season the State Combined-Event Championship will be held at Glendene on 1&2 March 2025.

   CROSS COUNTRY SEASON
KLAC conducts a Cross Country season that commences on 20 April 2024 and is held each Sunday through until 23 July 2024, with the exception of the day of the LANSW Cross Country Championships.
All LANSW registered athletes are welcome to participate for a one-off cost of $10. Unregistered athletes will therefore need to first register with LANSW via its website and pay the LANSW winter season registration fee.
The age group and distances run are as follows:
• Parents may participate in the Open event at their own risk.
• An informal event for younger siblings will be held at the parents’ risk
  • On the first day of the Cross Country Season: – Registration will commence at 2:30pm
– Course Orientation for runners and parents
will start at 3.00pm
– The first race will start at 3.30pm
• Subsequent weeks the events will start at 3.15pm
