radiant makes from Dawn Bibby
 • These dies are very detailed, so you might benefit from the help of a Tattered Lace Cut Tidy to keep track of your tiny die- cut pieces. I find it makes
a real difference!
SKILL LEVEL 33
• Always make sure you clean your dies properly before cutting. These dies have lots of small details,
and if they are not clear, you may not get a perfect cut. It’s worth investing in a special die brush
to speed up the clearing process.

1Die cut one each of the following: 13.5cm x 20cm panel of purple pearl card; 12.5cm x 19cm panel of mauve satin card; large oval from purple pearl card; owl from mauve pearl card; owl background from silver pearl 2card, plus three flourish corners from silver foil card.
For the flowers, cut one of each size from purple
pearl card. Then, from mauve pearl card, cut the following number of each size: Size 1 x4; size 2 x4; size 3 3x2; size 4 x1. Cut six assorted stamen from silver foil card.
Use the dry embossing technique to emboss the
mauve panel of card with the stencil background. Attach this onto the panel of purple card, then matt 4both onto the silver pearl card blank.
Adhere the purple oval centrally onto the card front
with 3D foam pads. Curl the petals of each flower using the ball point embossing tool, then build each flower using three layers for larger flowers and two layers for smaller ones. Secure a gem in the centre 5of each with a glue gun.
Matt the die-cut mauve owl onto the silver owl
background. Add Quickie glue to some of the negative spaces, then sprinkle with iridescent glitter. 6Matt the owls onto the ovals using 3D foam pads.
Position one die-cut flourish in the top-right corner
of the card front. Position another in the bottom-left of the purple oval. Lay out the flowers, then adhere them 7around the owl using a glue gun.
Snip the third die-cut flourish into smaller
pieces, and adhere these around the flowers in the bottom-left corner to extend the design. To finish, add gems to the open corners and in the centre of the owl’s eyes.
