The Holy Qur’an informs us that the Prophet (pbuh) has come to us to sanctify and cleanse us and to teach us wisdom
Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and wisdom and teaching you that which you did not know.
Holy Qur’an - Al Baqrah 2:151
Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting
to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error.
Holy Qur’an - Al-’Imran 3:164
“Head of the state as well as the Church, he was Caesar
and Pope in one; but, he was pope without the pope’s claims, and Caesar without the legions of Caesar, without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a xed revenue. If ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by a Right Divine, it was Mohammad, for he had all the power without instruments and without its support. He cared not for dressing of power. The simplicity of his private life was in keeping with his public life.”
Reverend R. Bosworth-Smith wrote in “Mohammed & Mohammedanism” in 1946:
