                            Emphasis in BUSINESS and FINANCE– Maroon Cord (Continued)


                  ϒ  Must participate in the Financial Face Off team at least 1 year during high school
                  ϒ  Must develop and market a product. Marketing plan and product or idea must be approved by the Quest
                     business faculty. Actual execution of the marketing is required and an assessment of the success of the
                     venture must be presented to the Quest leadership at least 1 month prior to graduation.
                  ϒ  Completion of a minimum of a 2-month internship in either the accounting department or the marketing
                     department at Quest. This will include at least 20 hours per month and can be done anytime over the 4
                     years of high school.
                  ϒ  Additional honors medallions are awarded for any of the following:
                         o  Receiving awards of medals for competitions in business and entrepreneurship.
                         o  Completion of more than the 5 required courses for this cord
                         o  Serving as a TA or summer apprentice in any of the courses


                                      Emphasis in COMPUTER SCIENCE – Black Cord

                   Please attach all transcripts, proof of community service, and other applicable documents to this form.
                     Completion of at least 6 of the following courses – (We will allow demonstration of proficiency in
                      an area if a class has not been taken through Quest)
                          Creative Computing
                          Programming
                          Networking
                          Web Design
                          Excel
                          Build a Gaming PC
                          Photoshop
                          Graphic Design
                          Computer Fundamentals
                      Maintenance of at least a 3.5 GPA for all required classes.
                      Courses not taken at Quest require a petition process to be accepted in place of those listed.
                      Participation in technology activities and workshops must occur during all 4 years of high school.
                      Demonstration of high proficiency as determined by the Quest technology faculty in at least
                      2 areas of technology
                       Coding & Programming
                       Web Design
                       Software for the Front-End User
                       Computer Architecture
                  Creation of a technology piece to be given to a charitable organization for their use or to assist them
                  through marketing
