How to Get Paid
You have been hired as an Independent Contractor and you will be paid for the services
you offer to our organization. **You are not an employee of Quest for Education and Arts.
You will be considered self-employed, and as such you will need to bill us for your services
(sample invoice on website or at front desk )**
You MUST sign in each day you teach, by scanning your ID badge in the
office when you arrive and when you leave. If you are substituting you will
also need to fill out a substitute form for that class in the office.
Invoices are due monthly, on the last Wednesday of the month by 6 pm. Thursday
Instructors must email on last Thursday of the month.
Invoices MUST be turned in as work is completed, in order to be paid.
Deposit invoices into the locked silver standing box near the front desk. In the
event, you are unable to deposit a paper form, please email your online invoice
to finance@questforeducationandarts.com
Checks are mailed to you from Wells Fargo, approximately 1 week after
invoices are turned in.

You will be deducted 10% of your pay for each week an invoice is late.
e.g. if you turn in your invoice two weeks late, 20% will be deducted for that pay
period.
This is meant to be a supplemental job. This is not a full income to support a family. We
aim to give you the best compensation possible, and we are always working to increase
the amount.
