Class Information
Instructor’s Zone –
Please follow this link, https://questea.org/instructor/ , to find useful information to help you on
your journey with us. You can a find blank invoices, W9s, reimbursement forms, and many other
useful files. The log-in information is listed on the “Instructor log-ins and passwords” reference
page in this guide.
● Weekly Announcements -
Announcements are emailed each week by Sunday, and are available printed at the front desk.
All faculty is required to read the announcements to their students at the beginning of each
class session and stay current on Quest activities. If you have announcements to add, email
them to announcements@questforeducationandarts.com by Friday at 11am at least one
week prior to when the announcement must be made. Make sure you keep up with the
announcements.
● Student Attendance Policy -
Attendance is mandatory for all class sessions. You must keep track of attendance or
delegate an Instructor Assistant to do so. Attendance is to be taken at the beginning of each
class session. Attendance points are to be adjusted based on tardiness and absences and
then recorded in Moodle. We recommend 5 points for attendance and 5 points for conduct
per session.
● In-box / Out-box -
You are required to have an Assignment In-Box located in your class room at the beginning of
each session for students to place their completed assignments in. You may provide your
own box, or request a Quest file box. After taking your students assignments from the in-box
and grading them, you are required to place them in the student’s out-box, or place them in
the filing box for them to do so. There are a series of file boxes where each student at Quest
has a file.
They are in alphabetical order by last name. Please file completed assignments in
the student’s folder. There is also a no name folder for assignments that do not
have names.
● Late Work & Extensions -
Late work and extension policies are to be determined by the instructor. Please make sure
you clearly communicate them with your students and have it posted on your class
webpage. We recommend awarding a zero if the assignment is turned in over one week past
due without an excused absence. Extensions may be granted at the instructor’s discretion
for illness or family emergency. Students must indicate that an extension was granted by
notating their assignment. It must be turned in by the extension date given by the instructor.
