Moodle for Instructors
Moodle is the online grading system used by Quest faculty. This program allows instructors
to log all student grades and create quizzes and tests for their classes. It is also accessible
by students so that they can keep track of their grades and assignments. Instructors are
required to login and enter their student’s participation, attendance, and assignment scores
each week FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL. Elementary must use it for attendance. Every
instructor must enter what was accomplished in class for that week (1-3 sentences).
Instructors are required to keep this updated on a weekly basis. You will receive your login
and password before classes begin.
If you are administering tests or quizzes through Moodle, please have test for them
available to students less than 24 hours after they are assigned. Multiple Choice tests
are graded automatically by Moodle. If open ended questions are on your test,
instructors will have one week to complete grading and upload the results.
A training video will be available for you on Moodle.com once you have received your log
in information. There will be a short training about Moodle at orientation. Further training
is available if needed.
