PAPER Paper and board are available in two forms, coated and uncoated. CONTACT US IF YOU NEED ANY ADVICE ON PRINT Uncoated materials are often referred to as ‘bond’ or ‘offset’. Coated materials are named according to the type of finish: • silk, which has a slight sheen and smooth finish • gloss, which offers high shine and vibrancy • uncoated, absorbs ink giving a muted effect, perfect for writing on • recycled stocks available. PRINT FINISHING TRIMMING AND DIE CUTTING - cutting forms can be created to add shape to your design FOLDING - there are many different folds to choose from BINDING - perfect bound, wiro/ spiral bound or saddle stitched (stapled or sewn) DRILLING, EYELETTING, PACKING See useful information pages for more information. SPECIAL FINISHES There are a great many finishes and effects that can be applied to paper and board. Colours, watermarks, lamination, spot UV, pearlescent, to name a few.
