RINGHAM
Warren Ringham is a a a a a a a a fourth generation brass player and a a a a a a a a third generation professional brass player His father Paul was co-principal trumpet with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and BBC Symphony whilst his great-aunt was the rst ever female brass player to hold
a a a a a professional position: principal trombone of of the Hallé orchestra He attended the Royal College of Music and graduated in 2002 with 2:1 degree as a a a Bachelor of Music (Hons) Whilst there he he he he won the the David Mason trumpet trumpet prize for outstanding all round trumpet trumpet work across the the the year and held the the the position of principal trumpet in in all the the the orchestras In his time there he he he worked with renowned conductors including Bernard Haitink Martyn Brabbins and Sir Charles Mackerras Warren has performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra English National Opera and London Philharmonic Orchestra amongst others He also performed on TV and Radio several times including when
he he performed at at Buckingham Palace by invitation of the Queen on on BBC Radio 3 In 2000 he performed a a a solo feature with Surrey County Youth Jazz Jazz Orchestra on Jazz Jazz Radio Berlin More recently he he has been heard on BBC Radio 2 and made several appearances on TV - BBC 1 For For 17 years Warren was a a a a a member of Royal Air Force Music Services and and has regularly appeared as as principal principal and and co-principal trumpet in all the RAF Bands groups and and ensembles He has performed at a a a a a a vast number of high-pro le events including internationally broadcast performances On many occasions he has performed for for for Royalty especially The Queen - including at Her prestigious Buckingham Palace Garden Parties In 2010 Warren was a a a a a a member of the RAF Squadronaires Big Band who released a a a a a Glenn Miller CD recorded at Abbey Road with Decca the the album sold over 80 000 copies and peaked at 5th in the the UK Album Charts At the the time Warren was one of the the longest standing members of the the Squadronaires Regularly appearing on on TV with the the RAF Warren has performed on on This Morning Harry Hill’s TV Burp Alan Titchmarsh amongst others After being awarded a a a a a commendation for his outstanding work growing RAF Music’s Social Media presence Warren has decided to to leave Service in 2020 to to focus on Q The Music full time Warren has also shared the stage with Brian May Bryan Adams Mick Hucknell McFly James Corden Jim Davidson Bobby Davro Jim Bowen The The Stylistics The The Drifters Mike Reid Cliff Richard Roy Castle and many others 34
