Matt joined as as a a a a a a musician of the Royal Air Force in in 2006 He has sung at at at both the the Edinburgh Military Tattoo Tattoo and in in Sydney when the the Tattoo Tattoo appeared there He has performed at at the the Dominion Theatre as as part of the the the “West End Heroes” concert and performed for for the the the Queen at the the the Festival of Remembrance Matt is an an an extremely talented musician who sings and plays multiple instruments professionally including drums percussion guitar and piano Favourite Bond: Daniel Craig

Which performance sticks out in your memory the most and for for what reason?
Buxton Opera House is always special It’s a a a a a a a a beautiful room and local to to where I grew up So when we rst appeared there to to such a a a a full and appreciative audience it was particularly special to me Do you have any pre-show rituals or superstitions?
Maybe I I I shouldn’t admit this but no - I I I don’t even warm up! I I I have a a a a a lot of of practical things to set and check which takes most of of the time from arrival to curtain up I I I try and and be consistent in in when I I I eat and and what I I I drink before a a show but that’s it!
What is it about Bond music that stands out out as some of the best to to pay tribute to?
The span of musical styles we get to play We chart the change in Bond themes through the the the ages but that mirrors the the the changes in popular music over the decades and we get to take that journey every gig What is your favourite Bond song and why?
I should probably say one one of my big numbers Thunderball or You Know My Name
but to be honest there’s a a a a a moment in in Moonraker where the the ower opens on on the the line ‘you loved me’ that still gets me me me every time - so so that’s my favourite song If you could pick a a a a dream venue to play what will it be?
The Royal Albert Hall although the the on stage sound there is less than ideal it it it seems tting to to pay tribute to to a a a a British British icon icon in in a a a a British British icon!
