     The Awakening
My dry, finger strayed across his valetudinarian like face. The anticipation raised; the thought of my late mother came and passed, as my eyes lingered on the thing that was once mortal, and now was to break the coil. My body was nothing but a tool that was to bend and break. Though my mortal body screamed with agony, my spirit screamed with joy.
This thing, this monster, this beast that defied all laws of physics, all thought of beauty but still, it was the one thing that beat happiness in my heart. Its pale complexion brought light into my dark, stormy mind. The dull, purplish lips, the locked sullen eyes, the seamless stitching were all factors which, combined made a thing of wonder. Though I was nascent in the area of make-up, and fashion, I was a scientist and I could see the beauty that lay deep within. The life that lay deep within.
A flicker was all it was. Just a flicker. But that flicker of life was all it took. The chalk white eye twitched. I scrambled to the left electron bolt and festinately raised the power. There was an immediate reaction. It’s jolted and turned in a grotesque manor. Moreover, his legs, hands and mouth on the left side of his body started violently vibrating as if he was having a febrile convulsion. Its blood-shoot eyes were barely visible as they were rolling in and out of their sockets. The monster’s mouth frothed with creamy foam as it spluttered. It was then that I realised what I had done. I was so delirious that I had created something that was never meant to be. Something that was unholy. I sprinted out of the room rapidly and locked myself in my bedchamber. Though I could not see it I knew that I had created a 7-foot monster, with 2 hearts that could kill anyone with ease.
