Rebellion in the kitchen (5o y 6o Ed. Primaria)
5th and 6th grade children on the 19 th of March had the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful play of ¨Rebellion in the kitchen¨ at “Sanpol Theatre”.
Marina and Leo love cooking, they cook every single day. One day they decided to cook a delicious meal for their family but suddenly food began to rebel against them. You would ask yourself... why did that happen? And the problem was that fruits and vegetables were tired of never being chosen for cooking. Martina and Leo always choose the same food. Fruits and vegetables are always left apart, they feel alone and they do not deserve that, they have done nothing wrong. In fact, they are very important for children to be healthy, because they provide us with many different vitamins and contain essential nutrients that are important for their health, growth and development.
That is why, the porpouse of this wonderful play is to encourage children to eat varied diet. Showing them that
colourful and crunchy fruit and vegetables are an important and enjoyable part of their diet. How did they do that? Through a wide variety of songs, games and humor, together with a beautiful friendship-love story.
Students not only enjoyed and laugh but they also learnt how to introduce healthy habits into their lifes.
