Summary of short story: ‘How Much Land Does a Man Need?’

Pahom was a peasant farmer who lived in village. His wife’s elder sister came to visit and told her about the good things she could enjoy in the city – good food, clothes, entertainment etc. These things did not lure the farmer’s wife. Even though life was not always easy
in the village, she was content. She recognised that their life was free and happy away from the temptations of city life.
