PLANNING YOUR FINANCIAL DESTINY | Chapter 7
The spending plan you establish will determine your future. To put it another way, the results you experience will flow directly from the actions and plans you make ... and see through to the end. If it helps, be accountable to someone you trust.
Here are some other things to consider in your planning:
• How can you do the right thing with your finances even when you don’t feel like it?
• In all situations, think before you speak. Otherwise, you may talk yourself out of your commitments.
• Restrain the urge to revert to old habits.
• Determine and plan your week. Decide how you will spend the greatest gift you have: your time.
• Prepare a budget that reflects where you want to direct your finances. This will remove the familiar, end-of-month question, ‘Where did my money go?’
• Plan to reduce your debts (more details on how to achieve this are given in the next chapter).
• Take small steps.
