Introduction
Welcome to EL Education’s new Grade 6–8 Language Arts curriculum. This document provides key information about how the curriculum is designed and built, and describes the principles that underlie it. It will give you a good understanding of what makes this curriculum unique and valuable.
The four modules fully teach and assess the literacy standards as students build important content knowledge based on a compelling topic related to science, social studies, or literature. Each module uses rich, authentic text throughout.
