  cracked glass
a broken mirror
a fist slammed strong now i am cracked everywhere; but along the edges
my own silver lining
i feel the damage
but what overpowers is the feeling of heal and possibility of
ugly cracks
sharp to the touch
to soften up
the mirror melds,
the glass runs smooth the edges beautiful without grooves
of angered hands
even when in the wrong some good comes out some grudges tossed
it’s moving day, for me none else i'm moving to a foreign place
to apartment #366
i see them
through clear glass, they kiss-
it seems at last
when glass is cracked it can be fixed
by simple acts.

 The Feeling of Abandonment
Abandonment never goes away
The pain is not immediate like getting
punched in the face
The pain is not swift like a stab
The pain doesn't come in waves like a broken bone The pain festers and eats away at you until it finally
makes your heart crumble
Abandonment never goes away
You will never know why
Your whole life you wonder
You wonder what circumstances made
them abandon you
You wonder if they even care
You wonder if they ever think about you
You wonder if they ever thought about the pain
they were inflicting on you
Abandonment never goes away
You’re told that time heals pain
But if that's true why does it still hurt so much You’re told that not everyone will abandon you But if that's true then why do you keep waiting for
the people you care about to leave
You’re told everyone has scars on the inside But if that’s true why can't you see them
Abandonment never goes away
