 Lost
He was holding me tight As I sank in my tears
It felt like my whole world Was falling apart
The white bedsheets Like puddles
As my tears dripped Like raindrops
He kept telling me That it would be okay I knew it wouldn’t
As I sank in his lap
I looked at the stars Up on the ceiling
I closed my eyes
I was getting pulled
Pulled into darkness
He jerks me up and pulls me back
Making me realize
One less person in my life
Won’t kill me
As I got pulled back to reality
The realization
My life doesn’t revolve around one person I become myself again
I became real

 Cold Dark Laughter
What is darkness, what is pain
Is it the way that laughter can change While it seeps through your skin Body cold as ice
You thought it was paradise
An escape from reality
Ends before your eyes
Pain is tricky
Like laughter, it floats
Upon your doorstep
The ache of it is in your throat
It wraps you tight
Try and fight
Don’t let them see you truly need to fly They will only laugh more
Deep into your soul
The blackness surrounds you
Until you are no more
