“For the receivers of this distress action, watch the skies. The Astra IV is approaching your location.” Eve jumped from her seat. Rida and I toppled over to stare at the sky. There, a modified version of our ship broke through the clouds into the atmosphere. It was a preliminary model, so its armor was not as heavy. However, this did reduce the weight of the aircraft. It was huge; about the size of a large warship. The clunking of metal could be heard. All three of us stood and cried.
The boom pushed our raft. Our ears bled as we spotted the second AA round fire into the sky. It collided with the ship and shred through, destroying a bottom armor panel that flew off the vessel. The engines stopped, then combusted. With that, once again, the sky filled itself with the red blazing fury that was man’s invention, a fiery blast which would mark the skies forever.

His mechanical eyes opened. Dr. Lee smiled as the other scientists clapped their hands. One scientist yelled out, “D7683 is complete.”
“I’m gonna call you...Dot,” said Dr. Lee as he ran his fingers over Dot’s latex skin. “You have a lot to learn, my friend.” The scientists picked him up and put him in a room that resembled a jail cell. Dot was programmed to know everything the scientists know. He knew how to walk, what he was made for, how to fight, how to talk, and much more. Dot was built to look like an average human being. He had dark blue eyes and long, healthy brown hair. Dot was created to be affable, but not when he was fighting.
Dot was programmed to know how to fight already- the scientists wanted him to be the best of the best. The military, which consists of Dot, other robots, and humans, had a mission. Their mission was to win the war by terminating as many people as possible. They’re fighting the humans that are against the idea of creating robots. They are known as the rebels. The rebels believe that robots will take over the whole world. If the Rebels win the war, the Military has agreed to destroy all of the robots. If the Military wins the war, the manufacturing of these humanoids will continue.
“Come on, Dot, speak,” Dr. Lee directed Dot. “Say your name and what you are.”
“Hello. I am D7683, also referred to as Dot. I was created to kill members of the opposing force. My kill count is currently: 0.”
“Well done, D7683.” Dr. Lee looked at the other scientists surrounding them. “He is ready.”
Dot didn’t need training to be prepared for the war that would occur in just three hours. He was already programmed with fantastic fighting skills, thanks to the scientists. The military commander suggested they wait in the opposing territory. They would wait for the Rebels to attack.
It took the soldiers, including Dot, two hours to hike up to the open battlefield where the fight would occur. It was rich, covered in green grass, the smell flowing throughout the air. All of a sudden,
