P. 2

  FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
AND PRESIDENT
Our 2019-20 Year in Review is a celebration of all that has been achieved this school year – in the classroom, on the field and stage, and philanthropically in our community. Although this was a year unlike any other, our students, faculty and staff, families, and friends came together time and time again to rise up, give back, and show their Gulliver Pride.
The pages ahead hold our best memories from the year. From mass media to the arts to athletics and beyond, you will discover incredible student accomplishments and see that our commitment to service learning is stronger than ever. We invite you to share in the excitement of our new vision, core values, strategic plan, and a unique commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium. Gulliver is truly UNPARALLELED!
Our culture of philanthropy continues to grow. Despite the challenges we all faced during the last school
year, our fundraising broke records with just over $7.1 million in total gifts and commitments. This level of
support is a testament to the strength and passion of our Gulliver community. Because of the belief and
generosity of our donors, we were able to make significant investments in technology. These investments
made it possible to pivot to remote learning in the spring and deliver a dynamic hybrid model this fall. While our Capital Campaign is still in its leadership phase, our early supporters have propelled us forward with construction projects at both the Marian C. Krutulis PK-8 Campus and the Upper School Campus. The Upper School will see improved campus access with significant road work being completed this fall. On our PK-8 Campus, plans are underway to break ground in January on our transformational multi-purpose building. As we continue to look to the future, the support of our Gulliver community is crucial to make our plans a reality.
On behalf of our Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, staff, alumni and students – thank you for your commitment and dedication to our community. We are well on our way to realizing our vision for the future of our school.
