WHAT IS A DUCTLESS HEAT PUMP SYSTEM?
    Air Handler/Evaporator
Frequently, installing ductwork is neither possible
or cost-effective. That’s where Mainline® ductless solutions can provide cooling & heating without costly, obtrusive ductwork. They’re a smart alternative to central, forced air HVAC systems and provide an excellent option for remodels, room additions, and
as a supplement to existing HVAC systems. Ductless heat pumps also are ideal for a variety of light commercial applications.
           Condenser
   HOW IT WORKS
Ductless heat pumps consist of two primary components: The outdoor condensing unit & indoor air handler/evaporator. A refrigerant line set, condensate tubing, as well as electrical wire will need to be connected between the 2 primary components. The condenser is installed outside the home or structure and the line set/power supply is run from the outdoor unit to individual offices, bedrooms,
living rooms, computer/server rooms, and basements, anywhere a conditioned space is desired. A variety of different types of interior units are then placed in the desired space to condition as needed. Single zone systems condition a single space, multi-zone systems utilize multiple refrigerant lines to provide conditioning in up to 4 separate spaces.

Not to mention, less wear and tear on the components, increasing overall product life.
