Hologarde, pioneer in integrated low-altitude air mobility systems.
A combination of agile innovation
and operational expertise
For Groupe ADP, the security of airport platforms is a priority in order to ensure the safety of more than 100 million passengers. This protection must necessarily include the new threats posed by drones. UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) flights has increased considerably in recent years, within a regulatory framework that is struggling to keep pace. That is why, after successfully testing a prototype in June 2016, DSNA and Groupe ADP joined forces to deploy Hologarde in 2017, which is the first pilot program worldwide that focuses UAV protection, in a complex airport environment. Groupe ADP then turned Hologarde into a company, offering UAV protection solutions that combining vision and agility with customer-centric operational expertise.
UAVs: both a promise and a threat
There are about 20 drones in service today for every aircraft, and this ratio is expected to increase significantly in the coming years. UAVs are already demonstrating their potential in sectors such as transportation, security, media, and agriculture. As expected, safety issues are starting to appear: UAVs can collide with aircraft and can cause accidents. They can also become formidable weapons in the hands of people who want to harm. That’s why authorities responsible for controlling
high-risk areas want to monitor and, where necessary, prohibit UAV access to their airspace.
Protection in all 3 dimensions
Hologarde offers a unique, integrated solution that detects the presence of UAVs, neutralizes those that pose a threat, and safely manages those that are useful. Hologarde acts as a project owner and architect of complex systems by combining various technologies, equipments, software and user interfaces, and can be used with many different industrial solutions. Hologarde is also a software publisher and integrator, bringing together different technological components in a command and security station that can deploy complete turnkey systems that are perfectly adapted to customers’ needs.
An ecosystem of innovative partners
The Hologarde solution combines a set of technologies developed by several key players. This Hologarde ecosystem includes several partners, both public (European Union, Île-de-France Region, schools, and research centres) and private (industrial actors and start-ups).
