INSIDE POSSIBLE
“Life is all about the things we can make happen for other people."
Mark started Blowfly Cricket in 2008 to create sporting and social opportunities for children with autism and intellectual disabilities, and their families. Learning to
live with a disability later in life, Mark had overcome many of his own obstacles. Learn how Mark is working with other people in his community to help them achieve their goals (page 12).
Mark has a simple, selfless vision: creating possibilities for other people. How often do you sit back and think, ‘What can I do to make someone else’s life better?’ At Just Better Care, we endeavour to take Mark’s lead and ask that question, every day.
In this issue of Possible, we explore how other people are committing their lives to the betterment of their community.

ride waves back towards the beach. For now, it’s the closest to surfing Mitch can get. Previously a fly-in fly-out worker in Western Australia, Mitch pursued this new hobby when a motorcycle accident in 2013 changed his life. His long-term recovery will take time, but he is happy to
fill his days photographing new locations, catching up with friends, and sharing his positive outlook with those who are also having a tough time (page six).
If there is a risk you can catch your toe on some carpet, then there’s a risk you can fall, says Physiotherapist Anthony Moore. Anthony discusses falls prevention and shares his top tips for staying safe at home. He says accidents can happen regardless of age or illness, but there are ways to prevent the likelihood of a fall at home, by identifying and managing the risks (page 18).
