favorite dish, a sweet hand-written note, an uplifting compliment, or a dozen roses, just because, don’t miss your
chance to not only cultivate and encourage her, but shower her with your love as to help strengthen her emotional
independence when you’re not right next to her. You’ll notice wave after wave of calmness and peace come over her
when you do this. We want to encourage her to live out her design: a helpmate. But to do this, she’ll need to be
invested in by you; she’ll need to be a priority in your life.

               The Woman & Modern Music
If we needed any more confirmation that as a woman we impact a man's heart, we could simply look to modern
music. Lyrics do an excellent job of expressing exactly what that impact looks like.

Music is poetry. It remains a window into our hearts and souls as human beings. Defined as literary work in which
special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm; poems
collectively or as a genre of literature, poetry gives us insight into that specific era of time. Defined as vocal or
instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of
emotion we see the impact music has had on every generation and gender from the beginning. With that being said,
there's no doubt as women we have the power to inspire, uplift, edify, encourage support and strengthen the man in
               our life.

How do we do that you might ask? Here’s a scientific answer. Cognitive neuroscientist, author, and speaker Doctor
Caroline Leaf reminds us that our feelings follow our thoughts and our thoughts stem from our memories — so let’s
commit to remembering the good in our past experiences (regardless of how difficult) while becoming intentional
about building positive memories moving forward. Then, from there, we have the ability to inspire these kinds of
               legacies:

We are a light to them, reflecting the truth that they are not alone, that they will not be abandoned.

               She gets on you
Under your skin like a tattoo
               She'll always be there
She holds on, stuck in your head like an old song
               She ain't goin' nowhere
               She's like finally coming home
Seeing that light in the window on
               After being gone too long
               – “Staring at the Sun” by Jason Aldean

We give them the strength to change. We give them peace. We offer meaning to their busy lives.

I'm not the same man since she's been around…
It's her love that brings me peace…
               – “She's Got a Way with Me” by Billy Currington

We inspire them to seek God, to become the best versions of themselves.

…I wanna be a good man
               A 'do like I should' man…
               – “The Man I Want to Be” by Chris Young

We allow them to get excited about life.

And I think to myself what a wonderful world
               – “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong
