the event, I responded, “Well, next time, tell them all to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine!” He laughed and said
“Yeah, I’ll do that, thanks.”
Sadly, we didn’t get to chat about it further. But what we did discuss left me wondering how many relationships are
shortened because of the words and opinions of others. Healthy mentorship is a valuable thing, but any and all
influence requires our full attention to detail. Detail meaning, truth, facts and our own high RQ as to protect
ourselves from someone else’s agenda.
