Clearly, this must now be discussed. How involved are you in social media? What do you need regarding social
media to feel secure in the relationship? How would you like your partner to handle opposite-sex interactions? How
should exes on social media be handled? The world of cyberspace can be a parasite that kills your relationship in
some form or another if you’re not intentional. Be very, very careful. Communicate, listen to one another, and talk it
out. Be on the same page. And stay on the same page.

               Character and Priorities
Are you an extrovert, introvert, or ambivert? Or – my own personal twist on these three – an EXTRA-extrovert? Do
you enjoy using public spaces as your own personal jungle gym, or do you reserve that side of your personality for
your own backyard? Do you have strong Romantic Intelligence? What is your intelligence quotient? When you
think of character, what comes to mind? Do you think treatment of others? Or does a list of character traits such as
discipline, self-control, and honor come to mind? Are you someone who views actions as a sign of true character?
Or are you someone who takes creative speech as an indication of good character? Do you offer mercy? Are you
someone with a humble spirit? Do you only make promises you can keep and that will withstand any change in
circumstance? Are you a goofball, where humor and laughing rate number one on the importance scale? Are you a
person with a balanced psyche, or do you have an extremist point of view? Do you go with the flow, or are you
controlling? Are you proper and etiquette-based, or someone who enjoys being very lax? How would you describe
your personality, high maintenance, low maintenance, or fabulously in between? How do you handle
disappointment? Do you feel defeated, or do you pick yourself up and continue onward? How do you handle
setbacks and trials? How do you handle mistakes? Do you learn from them?

Your answers to these questions are what make you, you. Celebrate and embrace that. Personality differences can be
valuable if you are able to play off one another’s strengths. However, a difference in values will bring distance,
               unrest, and pain.

               Day to Day Routine
Think about what part of the day is your favorite and what part is your least favorite. Do you despise mornings and
alarm clocks? Or do you love mornings and wake up before an alarm clock to the glorious sight of sunshine? Is
coffee the first thing you prefer to touch in the morning? Or do you prefer a tall glass of water and shot of
wheatgrass? Do you like breakfast, or do you find yourself not concerned with it? Do you like eating in for breakfast
or going out? On a Saturday morning, do you crave a mimosa or Bloody Mary with breakfast or coffee, or both?
What time are you scheduled to begin your workday? Are you someone who loves the drive time in your car on the
way to work, not taking much notice of the traffic around you, or are you someone whose blood pressure rises in
               morning traffic?

Do you prefer to take lunch to work, buy lunch there, or come home for lunch? Is fitness a big part of your day, or
do you avoid all things sweat and prefer sweet? Do you enjoy cooking after your workday, or do you want someone
to serve you a hot meal at a restaurant? Do you prefer to have your significant other in something sexy or with a
home-cooked meal on the table as you walk through the door after work? Do you like and need morning sex, or does
it help you fall asleep at night? Or both? When do you prefer to shower and take care of all things you – in the
morning or at night? How long do you take? Do you see the shower as a wonderful, serene waterfall or a waste of
time past the essentials? Are you someone who dislikes shopping, or is it relaxing for you? What day of the week
and time do you prefer to get the shopping for the house done?

Do you avoid all things housework, or do you love chores and “honey do” lists for around the house? Would you
prefer to fix it yourself or have a professional come in? How often do you feel cars should be detailed? Do you do it
yourself or enjoy a cocktail or coffee across the parking lot as the car goes to the spa? What kind of books do you
read? Do you read at all? Do you have a library at home and love it? What kind of movies do you like? Do you
prefer to see them in the theater or at home? What television shows do you watch? When do you watch them? What
kind of music do you listen to? Do you dance like it is your last adventure when your song comes on in public? Are
you someone who enjoys expressing yourself freely in public?
