ABOUT HARTMAN
Hartman’s story begins in 1948 when Robert Hartman began selling stapling equipment from his garage in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. What began out of necessity soon fueled an entrepreneurial spirit and a much larger enterprise was established.
While the main product line at Hartman was the tools and staples used in industrial packaging, Bob also sold bulk nails to the construction industry. The post WWII construction boom opened the doors to further product expansion with the company selling the tools used for construction as well as the fasteners.
Now, 70 years later, we are a knowledgeable and professional team of sales representatives, service and repair technicians, and customer service representatives ready to serve you. We believe that what makes Hartman unique is our face-to-face service. For those in the construction business, we will deliver to your job site using our own Hartman Delivery Service.
