The swimming pool is situated overlooking Lake Shengeza great for sundowners and hippo spotting in in in in the early evening or simply relaxing with a a a a a a book and a a a a a a drink from the bar The swimming pool can be found by following the the the the signs on the the the the lodge pathway past room 8 towards the the the the lake DO NOT SWIM IN THE LAKE - there are hippos and crocodiles in the water!
TEA & COFFEE
In your room you you you will find all the the amenities you you you need to make tea and coffee including the the kettle Please be aware that we we do run on on solar power and excessive use of the the kettle could be problematic If for any any reason there are any any problems we can easily supply you with hot water in a a flask from the lodge kitchen TROPICAL HOUSE GECKOS
Many first-time visitors to to to this part of Africa are disconcerted to to to find their room sometimes inhabited by tropical house geckos but fear not – this bug-eyed translucent almost spectral-looking lizard is is actually very endearing These little fellows do however make a a a a a a a a mess mess and and although our housekeepers attempt to clean all the mess mess every morning and and evening you might find their little droppings on on the the the walls basins and on on top of the the the bed covers in fin in in in in between cleaning times as they eat far too well with all the the african insects around We do apologise for for this but unfortunately it it is is is part of nature and out of our control TURN DOWNS
The beds in in in in all rooms are are turned down while you are are having dinner Please inform management if you you do not wish to have your room serviced at this time TRANSFER TIMES
The transfer transfer to Manguzi will generally depart the lodge at 10h30 Any unscheduled transfers
will incur an an an extra fee Our scheduled arrival transfers
from the the the car park at the the the Total Garage in in Manguzi to the the the lodge leave Manguzi at 12h00 and and 16h00 every day Any other times must be pre-arranged with management and and will incur an an an an an an extra fee
