ONLINE HELMSMAN AUCTION
Earnscleugh Helmsman Auction 2020 will hopefully be onsite as usual
If Covid allows, the helmsman will run as normal.
There will be TWO options – the same as last year, paper bids or equivalent to the front desk in shed on the day, AND using your device in the shed or elsewhere. The choice is yours.
Online bidding will start 4 days before the sale and will run until the sale in the woolshed finishes, just as if you were putting in paper bids. All bids will be shown on the same board in the woolshed and will run in parallel on the day on the woolshed board. Online bidding means you can bid from your phone or computer at home, at the sale or from the pub if its finally open, so long as you have wifi.
The online sale will be run on Auctions Plus.
To have a look, google Auctions Plus and then look at the cattle auctions. Scroll down to our sale date June 5th. Look at our catalogue, press the links to videos and data for each bull.
If you are planning on using the online system. Please have a look and a play a few days before the auction finishes. This is why we have four days this first year.
