One-third of office occupants have already returned. About a third of office tenants returned to business centers in June, Forum Group supervisory board member Iryna Shkolnyk told Interfax-Ukraine. By the beginning of the war and until April, the business centers were almost deserted. Some companies moved their teams to safer places within Ukraine or abroad. Some switched completely to remote work. In May, tenants gradually began to return. According to Ms. Shkolnyk, the returning residents are working in their offices for 10-30% of their total working hours. At the same time, companies continue to pay partial rent and cover service and utility bills. She noted that residents currently pay a percentage of the full rent, which will be reviewed monthly. It is planned to maintain this flexible cooperation format for the coming year.
Ukraine has registered 105,000 land transactions since the land market opened in 2021. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of June 26, 105,173 agreements have been concluded within the agricultural land market, and the total area of land sold is 252,200 hectares. The leading regions for land transactions are Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kropyvnytskyi, and Poltava. As a reminder, on July 1, 2021, the land market in Ukraine officially began. According to the law, until 2024, only natural Ukrainian citizens can buy agricultural land, with a limit of 100 hectares.
 9.1.5 Retail sector news
    Ukrainian retailers have lost $ 1.6B due to the war. The Association of Retailers of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers conducted a study in May, which showed that the total loss of 295 retailers due to the Russian invasion was UAH 50.7B ($1.6B). Companies that work in retail estimated their losses in real estate, equipment, and inventories from February 24 to April 23, without considering the loss of profits. The study was based on a survey of 295 retail network companies in Ukraine, representing 28,549 stores and 15.4 million square meters of retail space. In particular, the study presented data from small companies with three to 20 outlets (43%), medium-sized companies (21-50 outlets) (25%), and extensive networks with more than 50 outlets (32%). According to the study, 41% of the losses are due to damage to buildings, shops, utilities, finishes, and more.
 9.1.6 Agriculture sector news
    The 2022 harvesting season has begun in Ukraine. Agricultural producers in the Odesa region were the first in Ukraine to start harvesting this season. According to the Odessa administration, on June 11, farmers from the Izmail region began harvesting winter barley. In that region, the harvest operations will be performed on a total area of 1.06 million hectares. Winter wheat in the region will be harvested from 551,000 hectares, winter barley from 244,000 hectares, spring barley from 50,000 hectares, and rapeseed from 190,000 hectares. This year, Ukraine sowed 13.4 million hectares of land during the 2022 sowing season, which is 93% of the 14.4 million hectares that had been planned.
