LNG-to-power
Chan May LNG is planning to invest up to $6bn in an LNG-to-power project
in Vietnam as interest in such ventures grows in the country.
South African auction
Renergen has launched South Africa’s first ever auction of LNG by opening a
bidding contest for future production from the Virginia Gas Project.
Cancellation slowdown
LNG buyers are continuing to cancel cargoes that are scheduled for loading
from the US, but the pace of these cancellations is slowing.
Production drop
Russian LNG production in June was 10.1% below the level in the
corresponding month last year, according to state statistics agency Rosstat.
