that the corresponding project will be presented in the US House of Representatives in the coming days. However, the American politician supported the Republican candidate for the US presidency, Donald Trump, who wants to turn aid into a loan to Ukraine. "I think the idea of a loan will be quite popular not only among Republicans but also among Democrats," Graham added.
Britain has found a way to provide more long-range missiles to Ukraine.
British Foreign Minister David Cameron proposed that Germany exchange its Taurus missiles for British Storm Shadow missiles in order to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons. "We are ready to consider all options to achieve the maximum effect for Ukraine," he said. The British minister believes that Germany could supply the Taurus to Britain, and the British government would provide Ukraine with additional Storm Shadow missiles in return. "We are determined to work closely with our German partners on this and all other issues to help Ukraine," Cameron said. Cameron rejected fears that the supply of cruise missiles could lead to an escalation of the war in Ukraine. In turn, Anton Hofreiter, a member of the German Bundestag from the Greens, supported the British proposal to exchange missiles. According to Hofreiter, "it would be better" if German Chancellor Olaf Scholz would stop blocking the supply of Taurus missiles to Ukraine. "But until Ukraine receives more cruise missiles, such a 'ring exchange' is possible," he added.
Ukraine will receive only the first six F-16s out of the 45 promised in July. According to the NYT, the delays are the result of Ukrainian pilots not having yet arrived at the training center in Romania. However, it is not yet known when Ukrainian pilots will begin training. The delay "is a testament to the confusion and chaos facing the military alliance rushing to supply the F-16." However, the NYT added that this does not mean Ukrainian pilots are not preparing.
Ukraine can produce two million drones this year. The Deputy Minister of Industry, Hanna Gvozdyar, said that at its capacity, Ukraine can produce about 150,000 UAVs per month, and with additional funding, production can be increased multiple times.
UK pledges $416 million to buy 10,000 drones for Ukraine. The U.K. will allocate 325 million pounds ($416 million) to purchase over 10,000 "cutting-edge" drones for Ukraine, the U.K. Defense Ministry announced on March 7.
British Defense Minister Grant Shapps announced during his visit to Kyiv that the UK will allocate another £125M to purchase more than 10,000 drones for Ukraine. The package will include FPV drones, attack UAVs, and reconnaissance and maritime drones.
The Netherlands allocates €350M for F-16 ammunition and drones for Ukraine. The Netherlands has allocated €150M for air-to-ground munitions for F-16 fighters and €200M for ISR drones for Ukraine, said the country's Minister of Defense, Kaisa Ollongren, in Kyiv. The Netherlands will also send a group of F-16 fighter jets to Romania to train Ukrainian and Romanian pilots. The country has already transferred 18 aircraft, and part of the 24 aircraft intended for delivery to Ukraine is being prepared for transfer to the training base. In addition, Ukraine received the first trade delegation that was established within the security agreement signed with the Netherlands at the beginning of March.
