Analysing data of firms with at least 10 employees for 2019, the statistics office said that 39% of these enterprises bought cloud computing services, up from 26% a year earlier, while 17% used smart devices or systems and 8% robots. 10% of enterprises have a digital strategy.
In 2019, 7% of Slovenian enterprises analysed big data and 5% used 3D printing.
54% of persons employed in enterprises with at least 10 employees have access to the internet for business purposes: 46% in manufacturing activities and 65% in service activities.
95% of these firms use fixed broadband internet connections.
10% of enterprises with 10 persons employed have a digital strategy that was approved by the management: 8% of small firms, 17% of medium- sized and 40% of large enterprises.
As regards the activity of enterprises, 8% of firms from manufacturing sector and 12% from service sector activities have a digital strategy.
Brazil’s Stefanini IT group takes over Romanian cybersecurity firm
Brazilian company Stefanini, a provider of services and IT solutions for the business sector, has acquired a 60% stake in Romanian cybersecurity firm Cyber Smart Defense (CSD) from the company’s founder and general manager, Madalin Dumitru.
The strategic partnership with CSD will allow Stefanini, present with 70 offices in 41 countries, to expand its cybersecurity services portfolio. The deal also offers CSD better access to the international market.
CSD already covers the global cybersecurity market with offices in Bucharest, Dubai, and Maryland in the US.
It manages cybersecurity issues for local or multinational companies such as Tiriac Holding, Orange, Carrefour, Fildas Group, Pro TV, Gothaer Asigurari, Librabank, Emirates Airlines, Al Habtoor Group.
This is Stefanini's second partnership in Romania. In the autumn of 2019, the Brazilian group launched Stefanini Infinit, a full-service digital marketing company established in partnership with local entrepreneurs Alexandru and Andrei Cernatescu, owners of the digital communication firm Infinit Solutions Agency.
