Staggered outages
Chevron has been granted permission to stagger the closure of Trains 1 and
3 at its Gorgon LNG terminal in Australia for inspections and maintenance.
Security pact
France’s Total has entered into a security pact with Mozambique’s
government to help protect its $20bn Mozambique LNG venture.
Negotiations
The Mexican government has reportedly asked Sempra Energy to build a
second export facility as well as the Energía Costa Azul LNG terminal.
Climate goals
Russian LNG exporter Novatek has pledged to reduce its emissions over the
next decade, in line with similar moves by oil and gas firms across the world.
