     Norwegian petroleum company Equinor exits Russia. Norway's state-owned energy company said on Sept. 2 that it had completely withdrawn from the Kharyaga field located in the northern part of the country. "Following the exit from Kharyaga, Equinor has no remaining assets or projects in Russia," the company reported.
Tatneft’s new 2030 Strategy has boosted its oil output target by 5%, from 38.4mt (770kbd) to 40.5mt (810kbd), reports Interfax. Tatneft’s BoD approved the new Strategy in August, but until now no details about it have been reported. By way of comparison, Tatneft’s highest production level in modern history was 29.8mt (585kbd) in 2019, and in 2021 it produced 27.8mt (540kbd).

    The volume of sales of UAZ vehicles in 2022 may reach around 35,000 vehicles, General Director of Sollers Nikolay Sobolev said at the Eastern Economic Forum. "As for UAZ, we are generally focused on around 35,000," he said. Last year, UAZ sold over 41,000 vehicles.
Carmaker Toyota has closed its assembly facility in the south of Russia’s St. Petersburg, a spokesperson for the Industry and Trade Ministry told PRIME on September 23. “Toyota Motor closes its car assembly facility in the city of St. Petersburg. The company will ensure fulfillment of all social obligations to the employees. ... Besides that, the company will maintain after sale services for Toyota and Lexus cars and support the dealer chain,” the person said. The ministry and the city’s government are working on possible scenarios of how to develop this facility, the person said. Business daily Kommersant reported earlier on Friday that the plant was closed due to troubles with component procurement.
The Chinese motor-building company Weichai stopped the supply of gas engines to KamAZ, which in Russia were installed on gas engine models of K4 generation tractors, on methane dump trucks and on NefAZ buses.

    Aeroflot signed an agreement with United Aircraft Corporation for supply of 339 aeroplanes, worth RUB1tn, the company informed yesterday. The size of the deal is material, not all terms are clear.
By committing to this large-scale purchase, Aeroflot becomes the main customer for Russian-manufactured airplanes. The 339 airplane deal includes 210 MC-21, 89 SSJ-New and 40 Tu-214. The good news is that this ensures that Aeroflot will continue to fly in mid and long-term, despite the virtual halt of
