     - Deliveries via the Power of Siberia-1 pipeline to reach 20bcm this year vs. a 15bcm target in the contract. With the Kovykta field due to be tied into the system later this year, Chinese exports should grow sharply again in 2023, and the 38bcm 2025 target may be reached early, we think.
- Construction of a 1,100km, 12.4bcmpa gas pipeline within Pakistan will begin soon with Russian participation. This pipeline could carry re-gasified Russian LNG from the port of Karachi to northern Pakistan. Discussions on such supply agreements are apparently under way.
- A Russia-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan gas pipeline is being discussed. This line would allow Russia and Uzbekistan to send gas directly to Pakistan, assuming security guarantees for transit can be arranged. We have seen no estimates of potential volumes, but we would estimate them to be at least 20bcm, and with an extension of the line south to India at least a possibility.
