    The government recently approved a preliminary 3-year budget proposal (2023–2025) that foresees federal budget revenues rising by 9% this year.
The largest revenue boosts should come from taxes on the production and export of oil & gas, which the finance ministry expects to climb by nearly 50% this year, the Bank of Finland institute for Emerging Economies (BOFIT) said in a weekly update.
Oil & gas revenues accounted for nearly half of all federal budget revenues in January-August. Federal budget revenues are expected to contract by 6% next year on a roughly 25% drop in oil & gas revenues. Total revenues are
