indicate that in March the composite indicator of the business climate increased by 2.7 points to 10.6, reaching a new high over the past 12 years. The latter, according to the regulator, indicates an acceleration in economic growth compared to the previous month.
An improvement in business sentiment was observed both in terms of assessments of the current situation and business expectations for production and demand for manufactured products and services provided. The decline in price expectations of enterprises observed since the beginning of 2024 (the regulator revealed their dynamics last week) is accompanied by a slowdown in the growth rate of costs. Enterprises note the continued tightening of lending conditions, while non-price conditions softened, partly compensating for the rise in rates.
