4.5.2 Nominal wages dynamics
Ukrstat has not reported nominal incomes since the start of the war. However, at that time average incomes were some $450 per month in dollar terms, making Ukrine one of the poorest countries in the FSU. Since the war started this incomes must have fallen dramatically. The World Bank predicts that the poverty level in Ukraine could rise to some 50% in 2023.
