The new owner of the KFC fast food chain in Russia plans to stay as true to the legacy menu of the restaurant as possible, a source close to the Food Service company told TASS. "The legacy menu will remain as much as possible, recipes will not change. Nothing will disappear among favorites," the source said. The transition period for the new brand will be phased for franchisees, he added. US-based Yum! Brands said earlier it had closed a deal to sell the Russian division of KFC to a local franchising operator - Smart Service, a member of the Food Service Group. The chain will be rebranded as Rostic’s, a source close to the deal said.

The active daily audience of VK Video, a project of Russian social network VKontakte, has exceeded 55mn people in the first year of work while the average daily views on the platform of VK’s video technologies, comprising VK Video and VK Clips, rose 40% to 2.41bn, the network, owned by Internet company VK, said on Monday. A record is 3bn views a day, VKontakte said. More than 14,000 communities have joined the video monetization program over the year, and their number soared by 300%in July–September. VKontakte also said that 9mn people watch videos offline every month.
