In general, the main problem lies in the powers of the head of the SAPO. The fact is that initially, this body was created as an independent unit of the Prosecutor General's Office to investigate corruption cases involving high-ranking officials. However, the SAPO still has no separate legal status and remains administratively and procedurally dependent on the Prosecutor General Office.
Authorities search lawmaker's assistant office over alleged forged documents. The State Bureau of Investigation reportedly searched the office of Volodymyr Kolodyuk, the assistant of lawmaker Oleksandr Dubinsky, on Aug. 5 over the alleged forging of documents during Dubinsky's travel abroad, according to an undisclosed source of Ukrainska Pravda.

The number of people willing to participate in remote e-voting on the federal platform is expected set a new record by the September elections in Russia, Oleg Artamonov, IT expert and co-chairman of the Coordinating Council under the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation for public control over voting, stated. "As of yesterday morning, there were 450,000 applications to participate in e-voting on the federal remote e-voting platform. It can be expected that a new record will be set on the federal platform by the elections. The previous record was slightly over 600,000 applications set in 2021," Artamonov said during an agreement-signing ceremony with political parties on issues of independent monitoring during Unified Election Day. Artamonov recalled that this year, e-voting will be held on the federal platform in 24 regions (in Moscow - on its own web platforms). "Next year, up to 30 regions will be connected to remote e-voting. The proportion of voters in the regions who want to participate in remote e-voting is also increasing," Artamonov noted.
Western media has dismissed evidence of neo-Nazi influence in Ukraine by citing President Zelenskiy’s Jewish heritage. But new footage published by Zelenskiy shows the leader openly collaborating with a fascist ideologue who once pledged to “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade...against Semite-led Untermenschen.” Ukrainian President Vlodymyr Zelenskiy has uploaded a video to his Telegram channel showing him holding court with one of the most notorious neo-Nazis in modern Ukrainian history: Azov Battalion founder Andriy Biletsky. Ukrainian President Vlodomyr Zelenskiy published the video depicting what he called an “open conversation” with Ukraine’s 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
