Inflation forecast raised to 7.7% for 2024, seen reaching target by
2026
Analysts have revised their inflation forecast for 2024 upwards to 7.7%, a rise of 0.4 percentage points (pp) from the CBR’s September survey. The projection for 2025 has also been raised to 5.3% (+0.5 pp). Inflation is expected to return to the target level in 2026 and remain steady thereafter.
