Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder said that North Korean troops are, in fact, on their way to slaughter and questioned the feasibility of their deployment. He added that the US is monitoring the deepening of military ties between Russia and China. Moscow also stated that North Korea has become an essential bridge between the Kremlin and China. Beijing can indirectly transfer military equipment to Moscow via Pyongyang, avoiding sanctions.
Ukraine has eliminated 15 air defence systems in Crimea and destroyed $2B worth of tanks. Over the past two months, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed about 15 Russian air defence systems in the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula. The Strategic Communications Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces specified that Ukrainian forces damaged multiple divisions of S-300, S-350, and S-400 anti-aircraft systems. More than 15 Russian radar stations, dozens of launchers, and more than 10 military control points were also destroyed. In this way, Ukraine is preparing a bridgehead for attacks on Crimea after receiving F-16 fighter jets. According to political scientists, during the war, the SBU has destroyed 1,006 Russian tanks worth more than $2B. Milley is not alone in his assessment. Nearly half of Ukrainians believe the war with Russia is at a stalemate, according to a recent poll conducted by Rating for CEIP and reported by WP.
