Russian billionaire Vladimir Lisin is in talks on the sale of his railway cargo operator Freight One, Kommersant business daily reported on October 3 citing several sources. “Vladimir Lisin can sell his Freight One company... According to the data of Kommersant’s sources, the deal can be paid in cash. The talks are at an advanced stage, but not finished yet. The buyer is unknown,” the daily reported. Kommersant’s two sources said that the buyer can be “an absolutely new structure, but affiliated with a well-known market participant.” One of the sources said that the deal can be closed until the end of 2023.

The Russian government will allocate additional 900 million rubles to subsidize the program to replace recycled civil ships with new ones, the government said in its official Telegram channel on October 16.
