3.1 Macroeconomic overview
   Georgia’s GDP growth rate rises to 10.3% in August
  In Georgia, the real gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate in August amounted to 10.5% y/y, and 10.3% y/y in January-August.
According to a report released by the National Statistics Office of Georgia, estimated real growth in August compared to the same period in 2021 was observed in transportation and storage, construction, information and communication, hotels and restaurants, and trade. A decline was observed in manufacturing and real estate.
