EPAM​ has acquired Ricston Ltd., a leading software integration and connectivity solutions provider, ​the company said in a statement. Ricston provides various services to help across the full cycle of digital transformation, including legacy modernisation, software integration, Open API and Centre for Enablement (C4E). It also has a strong partnership with MuleSoft (acquired by Salesforce in 2018) and specialises in their Anypoint PlatformTM, one of the world's leading platforms for building application networks. The company has offices in the UK, Malta and Spain. EPAM said the deal complemented its technology consulting practice and further enhanced its capabilities in API and microservices, as well as contributed to the company's growing Salesforce practice.
Russian internet major​ ​Mail.ru Group​ reiterated its long-term target of doubling its gaming Ebitda by 2022 and reaching 20-25% Ebitda margin in the segment​, BCS Global Markets wrote on September 4 citing a teach-in by the company. As reported by ​bne IntelliNews,​ the company has been developing a solid position in video games and cyber sports​. In 2018 Mail.ru acquired one of the largest cybersports holdings in the world, ESforce​, for $100mn. Mail.ru intends to continue to grow both its gaming and cybersports portfolios organically, and to lesser extent through M&As (historically acquired 1-2 small studio per year). Strategically, the group sees diversification of portfolio (between platforms, own vs licensed vs acquired with focus on own), international expansion, development of franchises, company brand, and talent cultivation as its main objectives. "Games segment is increasingly important for Mail.ru, and though it has inherently low visibility, we believe is Mail.ru well on track to achieving its long-term goal of games EBITDA doubling from 2018 to 2022," BCS GM commented. Mobile games are sees as remaining the main driver, accompanied by PC and console development as well.

Russian utility major InerRAO plans to invest RUB45bn in the development of gas generation turbine with its Russian Gas Turbines (RGT) joint venture ​with General Electrics that intends to sell over 20 turbines by 2030, Kommersant reported on September 30. As reported by ​bne IntelliNews,​ ​InerRAO has just adopted long-term development strategy​, with the focus on engineering being one of the main priorities.
