Russia’s gross grain harvest in 2024 is projected at 130.9mn tonnes, including wheat harvest of 84.2mn tonnes, according to Head of the agricultural markets analysis department at Rusagrotrans Igor Pavensky. At the same time, the barley harvest is expected to reach 18.7mn tonnes, corn - 14.6mn tonnes. Pavensky’s presentation also stated that grain exports from the beginning of the current agricultural season (July-May 2023-2024) will amount to around 66.3mn tonnes.

The advertising market in Russia grew by 32% in the first quarter of 2024, reported the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (AKAR). The market volume reached a level of almost 190bn rubles. According to analysts, growth of 32% was a record. “All major segments grew by 20% or more, and even the weakest sub-segments experienced double-digit growth,” it said. On March 26, AKAR estimated the growth of the advertising market in 2023 by 30%, the industry volume amounted to 730.7bn rubles. Then the figure also became a record in its entire history.
