about ending the war in Ukraine war as Putin has shown no inclination for dialogue, the White House said on December 2.
Russia likely started using new batch of Iranian drones in Ukraine. Russia has likely “exhausted its previous stock of several hundred Shahed-131s and 136s and has now received a resupply” as Ukraine’s General Staff reported attacks by Iranian drones for the first time in three weeks on December 6, according to the U.K Defence Ministry.
Russia built nearly 400 cruise missiles since February despite Western sanctions. Russia appears to have built 240 air-launched Kh-101 cruise missiles, as well as about 120 sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles since February, despite Western sanctions intended to diminish Moscow's arms manufacturing capabilities, according to Vadym Skibitsky, a deputy head of Ukraine's military intelligence.
Russia will supply Iran with Su-35 fighter jets, despite Israel's warning about providing weapons to Ukraine in response to such a move. Russia will soon supply Iran with advanced Su-35 fighter jets. According to Western intelligence, the 24 fighter jets were originally intended for Egypt. The Americans talked Cairo out of the deal, and the Russians sought buyers for the planes. After Iran became a supplier of drones to the Russian army, the issue was resolved. Intelligence sources say that the training of Iranian pilots on new machines continues in full swing. Israel believes that the warning will not deter Russia and that increased military cooperation with Iran will push Jerusalem to supply arms to Ukraine, something Israel has refrained from doing, despite pressure from the US and within the country.
The war has already led to the fact that the government almost completely closed the data on the Russian economy - and now the data on the incomes of officials are also going into the "grey zone". Two days before the New Year, Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing all Russian officials not to report their income publicly, and for the security forces and civil servants involved in the SVO, even to their own superiors. If the norm works as it is described in the decree, it puts an end to the 13-year history of whitewashing the incomes of officials in Russia. Vladimir Putin's decree, which removes part of the duties of declaring income from officials, appeared on the portal of official legal information on the evening of Thursday, December 30. Its title and most of the paragraphs refer to military personnel, employees of law enforcement agencies and officials seconded to the regions of Ukraine annexed to Russia, as well as their family members. For those of them whom the laws oblige to publicly disclose expenses and incomes, the decree “for the duration of the special operation” removes this obligation. The decree also removes the ban on them from receiving gifts and rewards from individuals and legal entities, if we are talking about "gifts of a humanitarian nature."
