Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin had given him a draft of the Istanbul agreements between Moscow and Kyiv, which allegedly contained a clause on "the lease of Crimea." "No, that is not true," Peskov said when asked whether such a possibility had been on the table. "Crimea is an inalienable part of Russia. It is a Russian region," he stated.
Putin attacks Zelensky, says he is ‘not Jewish.’ Russian dictator Vladimir Putin proclaimed that according to his Jewish friends, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is "not Jewish" and a "shame to the Jewish people," Telegram channel Smotri media reported on June 16.
African leaders came to Ukraine to ask for suspension of Putin's arrest warrant. The African leaders' delegation that came to Kyiv on June 16 to present a peace plan was mostly interested in suspending Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's arrest warrant, Mykhailo Podoliak, an advisor to Ukraine’s Presidential Office, said.
The US Congress is preparing to confiscate Russian assets to assist Ukraine, and Estonia is the first in the EU to develop a legal confiscation mechanism. The corresponding draft act has been introduced by a bipartisan group of US senators, which primarily concerns the assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The document is entitled the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act (REPO) and has bipartisan support. It was introduced immediately to the Senate and the House of Representatives.
