The EBA emphasizes the importance of joint efforts to implement a strategy to liberate the Ukrainian Black Sea ports for commercial transportation of all types of cargo. For this, first, it is necessary to ensure navigation safety, including demining maritime territories. Secondly, creating war risk insurance programs for shipping companies that conduct direct trade with Ukraine is crucial. The EBA appealed to the spokesman of the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, with a request to take all necessary measures to end the Russian blockade of the Ukrainian seaports.
Ukraine will have no grain storage problems due to sufficient grain sleeve supplies. Ukrainian farmers will not experience a grain storage capacity shortage thanks to the donated grain sleeves that arriqved in 2022, said the chairman of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, Oleksandr Haydu. According to him, last year, farmers received sleeves capable of storing 15mn tons of grain and equipment for loading and unloading these grain crops from donors. This amount of equipment was sufficient to save last year's harvest. Therefore, given how the harvest is going, there should be no shortage of storage capacity. At the same time, Haydu added that if the problem with a lack of storage does arise, Ukraine still has unused sleeves from last year.
