Ukrainian agricultural powerhouse MHP Agroholding, Ukraine's largest poultry producer, has entered into a poultry joint venture with Saudi Arabia’s Desert Hills Veterinary Services Company Limited (DHV), a subsidiary of Tanmiah Food Company, a prominent supplier of poultry and meat products in the Middle East listed on the Saudi stock market, Iinterfax reported on September 8.
The partnership calls for an investment of over SAR200mn ($53mn) in farms capable of housing more than 1mn breeder chickens. These farms are expected to produce approximately 175mn hatching eggs annually. Additionally, a modern poultry hatchery and feed mill will be established as part of this venture.
The memorandum of understanding signed earlier this year outlines that DHV will hold a 55% stake in the joint venture, while MHP will hold a 45% stake. The deal is a rare example of war-time foreign investment entering Ukraine.

Ukrainian IT company MacPaw has opened an office in Boston. As the company reports, the MacPaw team is working to expand into new markets and gain access to a broader international audience and wants to become closer to its customers and potential partners. The US is one of the company's key markets, with about 40% of MacPaw users residing in the US. "We chose Boston because the city's technological ecosystem, rich history, and innovative spirit perfectly correlate with the company's culture. MacPaw will actively develop the Kyiv office, where the main part of the team is located, and the Boston location will become the center for the team abroad," the company said. By 2025, MacPaw plans to expand the Boston office team to 30 specialists. MacPaw's best-known product is the CleanMyMac application, which has over 20 million downloads. According to the company, its products are used by more than 30 million people worldwide.

Ukraine, Germany to build wind farm in Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. The Ukrainian government and the German company NOTUS energy have agreed to jointly build a wind power plant in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, capable of providing electricity to almost 1,000 households.
A Ukrainian company will have a complete cycle of manufacturing end use products from titanium. By the end of 2023, the Velta group of companies plans to launch the production and sale of their first products, titanium medical implants, in Ukraine. In 2017, the company founded its research center, Velta RD Titan. It developed and patented its innovative technology in Ukraine and the US for obtaining metallic titanium, which has a low carbon footprint and zero emissions. The necessary equipment was purchased to expand production to a semi-industrial level - 1,000 kg of titanium powder per year.
